These terms apply to drandrewwichterman.com, the website of Dr. Andrew Wichterman, PhD, LPC. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Educational content only

Everything on this site, including the articles, the free ADHD screener, the symptom checklist, the appointment packet, the glossary, the videos and the guides, is general educational information about ADHD and related topics. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a diagnosis. A screener or checklist can suggest whether an evaluation is worth pursuing; only an individual evaluation can establish a diagnosis.

Dr. Wichterman is a licensed professional counselor, not a physician. Nothing here is prescribing advice, and decisions about medication belong with your prescriber. Do not start, stop or change a medication or supplement because of something you read here.

No counselor–client relationship

Reading this site, using its tools, downloading a form, joining the newsletter or sending an email does not create a counselor–client relationship or any other professional relationship with Dr. Wichterman. A professional relationship begins only when you schedule a service, such as an evaluation or a consultation, and complete the intake and consent process for that service.

Please do not send clinical details, diagnoses or other private health information through this site or by email. Email is not a secure channel.

Links, products and affiliate disclosure

This site links to other websites, including Amazon, YouTube, the App Store and Google Play, Stripe checkout pages and the Fullscript supplement store. Those sites are run by others under their own terms and privacy policies, and Dr. Wichterman is not responsible for their content or practices.

Some links are affiliate links. The book links go to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. The supplement store link goes to Dr. Wichterman’s Fullscript dispensary, and purchases there may earn him a commission. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra, and commissions do not decide what is written or recommended here.

Some products are Dr. Wichterman’s own: his books, the ADHD Treatment & Support Guides (PDFs sold through Stripe), his apps and the ADHD Testing Made Simple course for clinicians. Terms that apply to one product, such as the course’s refund guarantee, are stated on that product’s page.

This site may show advertising from Google AdSense. Google chooses the ads, and an ad does not mean Dr. Wichterman endorses the product or service.

Intellectual property

The articles, forms, checklists, guides and other original material on this site are © Dr. Andrew Wichterman. You may read, print or download them for your own personal, non-commercial use, for example to bring a checklist or the appointment packet to an evaluation. You may not republish, sell or distribute them without written permission. Photographs are used under license from their sources.

Acceptable use

Do not copy or scrape the site at scale, try to disrupt it or gain unauthorized access to it, or use it for anything unlawful.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. Research and guidelines change, and an article can contain an error or go out of date; the editorial policy explains how corrections are handled. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dr. Wichterman is not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content.

How this site collects and uses information, including cookies and advertising, is described in the privacy policy.

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the current version, and using the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
